Asia Argento is an Italian actress and film director who is a member of a large family of both. She's pursued the two professions her own. Asia debuted as a feature-length director with Scarlet Diva (2000). The film featured her as a director. She was also the lead actress and wrote the screenplay. In 2001, following the directing of a number of music videos, she gave birth to the first of her daughters, Anna Lou. In 2002, she was in The Red Siren directed by Olivier Megaton and starred alongside Jean-Marc Barr. Rob Cohen also directed the action thriller featuring Vin Diesel.
